We had BLOGS for almost every subject on activations of a park, forest, field, or summit. But what we were lacking here at BLOG*413 was a blog where those hams for one reason or another like HUNTING more than activating. Well, without you guys spotting activators, folks in the field just have a harder time getting noticed! Period. So thanks for what you do too.
So, we honor you hams, with this Hunter's Hangout Blog. Good for all to use for whatever crosses your mind. Talking about all your chased/hunting contacts, or perhaps showing us your best HAM SHACK PHOTOS, Mobil photos, or any conversation in between. Thanks to KC1ABT (Always Buying Tacos); Jason for the wonderful shack photo as a blog pic. Jason loves not only activating parks, but also loves chasing and hunting them as well. Jason is an excellent drone pilot in his off radio time, and sometimes blends the two together in an excellent youtube channel. I bet you see Jason himself come back here often to converse with all the hunters and their adventures.
For those accessing this website from your hamshack. Members of this site should now be able to have group chats with other registered members of this site. I am not sure how it works yet, but I did enable the opportunity to do so. I guess hands on actually try, will be the test.
Personally I like hunting more than activating. Not so much recently however as I am still waiting for my feedline to dry out :(.- KC1ABT
